Hi,
Has anybody ever sailed the sound side of the Outer Banks? I’d like to
sail over to Portsmouth Island, but I’d like to talk to somebody who’s
already done it.

You need:
Bigger scuppers.
Seal the starboard locker.
A half-hight companionway board.
A lifeline pad eye in the cockpit + plus a harness.
Secure the reef hooks so you won’t have to go forward.
Then have fun, at least the boat will be OK.
