A suggestion
for the cheep method.

I take an
ArmorAll Protectant Wipe, trim it to approximately 2 X 2 then fold and stuff
into the sail track between the first and second slides so that the wipe will
ride up the mast in the track with the sail hoist. It usually lasts for a
few hoists, but the effect lasts much longer.
True, it is not
“sail” stuff, but cheep, easy and affective and available at most
grocery stores.
