Shipping of F33 USA-UK

Posted by daniel.oshaughnessy (daniel.oshaughnessy@…>)

I have a 1981 Freedom 31 in Maryland which i want to ship from
Baltimore to the UK. I have contacted a shipper but need a an
experienced, responsible person to “nursmaid” the road haulage and
handing over to the shipper.
Does anyone fancy this job?
Any recommendations?

I would be grateful for any help.

Regards to all

Do be careful daniel. If this is a US-built boat you may have problems with the EU RCD(Recreational Craft Directive) which may involve you in ‘proving’ that your boat is sea-worthy.Crazy I know , but I nearly bought a Freedom 40 recently that had been imported via the Azores(lower purchase tax) but was deterred by my surveyor who said that it could cost 1000’s in modifications to allow me to sail in EU waters.regardsJonH----- Original Message ----From: daniel.oshaughnessy <daniel.oshaughnessy@…>To:
