Several replies to my query about odor control aboard suggested an ozone generator might be helpful. The following link from an EPA website says it is unlikely and maybe harmful.

I bought a small air ionizer, ozone generator at a Boat show. You can choose whether or not to use the ozone. It really does work to get rid of mold and other oders in my whole house. I haven’t used it on the boat, but if I did I would use it on a very low setting.
One doesn’t stay in the boat or room of the house when the ozone is on.
