My new (to me) Freedom 28 appears to have a highly beefed up bow
pulpit area suitable for the gunmount system and I would like any
information on either used equipment if available or how difficult it
might be to rig an approximate system for cruising. What are the
dimensions of the pole and the diameter and wall thickness?
It appears that the F-28 is very close in J to a J=24 and have thought
of going the conventional way with pole attached to mast track etc.
Have any of you tried both systems and what are the pros and cons
especially for cruising.
