Hi, We are looking for a surveyor who would be very detailed and

I have used Paul Brinkman twice. He is very thorough, and very conservative. He
is not a ‘feel good’ surveyor who will take away your fears, but rather will
always give you doubts about your boat. You need to read him and the ‘problems’
with which he comes up. He considers a boat a work of art as well, and will
again be very critical. Phone 401 952 3520. Use him to be sure that you have a
good solid boat, but as I said, don’t be looking for a guy who will just smile,
give you a thumbs up, and pat you on the back.
If it is a Freedom you are looking at, you can also call Paul Dennis at Warren
River Boatworks (now located at cove haven marina in barrington) and ask him if
he will look at your boat. He is not a surveyor per se, but knows freedoms
better than anyone. He will probably know the history of the boat you are
looking at.
