we have a 1985 Freedom 32, hull no. 93. Our water tank appears to be draining
into the
bilge due to a small leak somewhere, so I thought I’d replace the whole tank
with a new one.
Has anyone done this? Is there a good source for the tank, do I need one custom
made, etc.

Our '84 39ft cat ketch tanks have both leaked - always from fitting connection and easily fixed. Much easier than tank replacement. Sally and David Jensens/v Hopalong

You might want to check the vent hose. Mine would overflow into the bilges until I re-routed it. PWMcpamba <dalligood@…> wrote: we have a 1985 Freedom 32, hull no. 93. Thanks for the help on this. I following the link carefully and have
determined that the culprit is the pressure value near the tank going
to the galley sink. Ordered the replacement, will install on Sunday
and test again. This is difficult to get to, but hopefully this will
solve my problem.
Glad I didn’t bother replacing the tank itself – expensive and totally
unnecessary! Thanks for the advice.
