Windvane on cat ketch with bobkin

Has anyone used a windvane on a cat ketch with bobkin? Trim tab? Or pendulum? What solutions are people using for ocean passagemaking?

Hi there,

Yes, I use a windvane driving a trimtab on my Freedom 40 centre cockpit.

Works well.

Yes. I’ve used a Hebridean, servo pendulum system.

Works fairly well and does not interfere with the rudder.

If you go to the scanmar website and check out the gallery, theres a couple Freedoms with monitor windvanes.
