Brit born and raised. Started sailing/ racing Toppers and lasers when I was 7. My (slightly eccentric) Father bought me a Tinker Traveller (inflatable sailboat rated as a life raft) in the late 80’s but it was Wanders, Wayfarers, Gulls for my RYA dinghy exams to level 5. Studied Yacht & Powercraft design at Southampton Institute where I also took my keelboat exams to day skipper.
Planned a career in yacht interior design but got blown off course and ended up in normal interior and furniture design.
Land locked in Germany for 15 years (but I did manage to buy an old Tinker Traveller from e-bay :), then moved to Dubai.
Bought my UK built, twin keel F21 in ‘21 and named her “Forever 21”. Intent was to refurb and start building my skills and miles again to take my Yachtmasters…. But the refurb continues
