There comes a time, eventually, for the "next" part and thus it is for us. We have put our wonderful Being There on the market. It is listed with Mark Edwards (formerly of Freedom) who is very knowledgeable. I trust we will find a good home for our Being There. It is one of the last F38's built, having the chrome ports. It has a recent Yanmar 3YM30 engine, as well as sails. Happy to answer any questions or you can give Mark a call. It sits in Marion, MA and will winter in New Bedford.

Ed,
Curious, are you moving away from Freedoms? You have given some great advice over the years. Much appreciated.
I have often thought of upgrading to a larger Freedom.

We realized we weren't using it enough and will downsize to a daysailer of some sort. She's been a wonderful boat and I know we will miss her. Was one of the last two or three built. Recent Yanmar and sails. You should think about it. But I'm biased of course.

Hi Ed:
Sorry to see that you, too, are leaving the Freedom fraternity as I did in 2013 when I sold my 36.

After the sale I did not know when or if I’d sail again. I found Pelagic Sailing Club and actually sailed more in 2014 than I did in 2013. Our club consists of about half boat owners who need crew and half crew who need boats. Members are located largely in Narraganset Bay up to Salem Harbor. We welcome new members.

Bill, good to hear from you. When the boat sells that sounds like a great plan. I'll look into it.

Hope you are well.
