F44 Alabama Queen for sale in the NL's [EDIT]

Post by Michel »

Dear friends,
After a long absence here I found the way back. My F44 Alabama Queen is on the market in the Netherlands. Search this board for info and links. Some still work. F44 #4. Wishbone rigged in Nonsuch/Tanton fashion with fixed height wishbones. Boat not ready to sail, work to be done, engine and part of electrics need to be replaced. Interior, hull and rigging are good.

Asking €49,000 (including EU VAT).

Here's some info.

And some more info about the refit in 2006-2007:

I don't have much experience and I also don't mean to hijack this thread. What would a shipyard/wright charge to rebuild/replace the diesel? Does the yard she is currently at offer this service? If rebuild is not an option, I would like to go with a Beta of similar HP. Would a Beta be a good fit for this vessel?
