Good morning. I was just wondering if the hull on my 45 is cored below the waterline. Or just the sides above the water?
Thanks

Re: Freedom 45CC core question
To the best of my knowledge, the entire hull is cored except along the center line and at the hull deck joint.
Happy sailing.

Re: Freedom 45CC core question
I recently replaced the engine intake seacock on the starboard side of the engine bed and the area is cored. The seacocks were potted in some type of resin to to protect the core. This potting broke when the old seacock (5200'd in) was chiseled out. I resealed the area with about an 1" of West system and silica all the way around. Core looked/felt in decent shape.
I also replaced a tranducer just to the port of the forward head seacocks which are close to centerline. This area was solid glass.
