hydraulic ram help

greetings..
I found a place in florida, sent me external steering ram...and it is too badly damaged for repair..
shaft destroyed the piston, and deeply gouged the tube...etc..
anyone know where I can get a used one,etc...
I am in Salinas, PR...have good mail service....will be flying back to florida next week for a visit..

it's an old hynautic capitano single ram....no longer made,etc..

You don't mention who looked at your cylinder. Here is a rebuilder for Capilano steerings systems in Safety harbor, FL. They might be able to offer recommendations.

I also know a fellow here in Rhode Island who recycles boats. I have sent him an email asking if he has any hydraulic steering cylinders that, if not usable, are at least rebuild-able.
