I like the idea of something to make attaching lines easier; if (when!) I have a new one made, I will probably add that. If I can find the correct sizes, I'll probably do a PVC/wood mockup of what I want and hand it to a fabricator. Don't trust myself to measure and make a drawing, even though the fabricator could make it from a drawing.
As for the length of the F33 tiller--yes, it IS too short, but any longer and it wouldn't fit between the rudder and the binnacle/wheel. So you are stuck with it that way, I'm afraid. It had enough leverage to maneuver when motoring, but I'd want a handy billy or something if I was trying to steer when the helm gets heavy.
