F35 (Pedrick) Harken mast track system

Post by Al Lorman »

I need to replace the ball bearings in the Harken mast track system on my 1994 Freedom 35. Does anyone happen to know the model number of the system Freedom used, as the ball bearing sizes are model dependent?

Many thanks.

According to the ever-helpful Paul Dennis, it is an A system and the Torlon ball bearings for the battcars are 1/4" (Harken part 177).

Hello,

Replying to an old post, but what size are the batt cars on the F35? I see posts for 22 mm ones and 26 mm ones for sale.

I attempting to replace one of the cars (not for a batten) and it is 55mm (2-1/8") High and equally as wide. The track I believe is 26 mm or just over 1" wide but want to make sure I can order a correct version.

I did confirm that the 177 (1/4") Torlon balls are the correct ones.
