Stanchion Bases

Post by msheehan1 »

Any idea where to purchase the Stanchion base for F32 lifelines? This the stanchion that holds the gate poles that attach to the toerail.

I think that they may be these. But it looks like they might not be made anymore.

Rigrite has them, I believe. Not cheap, but likely your only option.

EDIT: here's the link.

Have any of you had any luck finding those stanchion bases? I need some too. I did find a french company but haven't had any luck getting through to them.

International boat spares is the name of the company.

It looks like Rig Right has them too but very expensive. I looked into having some machined but also very expensive.

I hope this helps someone and please let me know if you find any..

All the best,

You can see the parts and order on this page:

https://www.international-boat-spares.c ... e-rail-811

Total including tax and shipping around 80 euros, half the price of rigrite

I just purchased one from rig right. $189. Ouch. Welding some out of titanium or epoyxing some carbon fiber ones seems like a good alternative!!!
