UK South Coast Surveyor Recommendation Required

Post by hotstonp »

Greetings all

It is that time of year for insurance renewal and a few are asking for a new survey.

My last surveyor did not impress me - missed a few bits and listed things like "should pull the mast to make sure it is ok"

So can anyone recommend a UK Southampton coast surveyor that knows freedoms?

Many thanks in advance, here's wishing an end to the snow and the start of some sunny days along the South Coast.

How much travel are you prepared to pay for?

Did a pre-purchase survey for me on a F30 CK at Eastbourne, at which I was present. Meticulous and had surveyed Freedoms previously. I did not buy that one. (Still for sale at a silly price)

Hi Peter,

We cant offer any advise as our previous surveyor was not too great either. We were going to try some of the Hamble advertised ones and I did get a reply from SURVEY@JIMPRITCHARD.CO.UK who was recommended, but we never got to use him.

Not sure if he has surveyed Freedoms though.

We will be looking again this October when our insurance survey is needed. Good luck.
Kind Regards
