I’m sorry to hear that you are giving up your very unique sailboat. I also have a major problem with motion sickness. However, I’ve found that one 25 MG. meclizine tablet 24 hours before exposure to that motion, and continuing with a 1/2 tablet, in the morning and the evening keeps things under control. This inexpensive control method has been deemed ineffective simply because the package directions on the package (Bonine) state to take 2 hours before exposure. I have found that 2 hours is simply not enough time to get the drug into the body. Herm

Paragliding is on my bucket list, especially powered paragliding. Strap a fan on your back and fly. It looks so crazy I gotta try it.

Yeah… but who needs a motor? heh heh Eventually I’ll do powered paragliding but for now I’m pretty happy to fly like a bird. In fact, I’ve had hawks soar with me. 
We use ridge lift and thermals to get altitude.
