40/40 boom vang maker?

I don’t see any makers mark or any indication of what company built my boom vang. I want to find a manual for it online but without knowing who built it, im not sure where to look.
I think the spring inside has become a bit fatigued and want to see if i can raise its resting position. Does anyone know who built these or better yet, has anyone attempted to adjust them?

I thought it was Hood, but I couldn’t find anything. Then I ran across this, which looks the same as mine:

I believe it was made by Hall Spars, marketed as the QuikVang. You can find links to the manuals on this Rigrite page, as well as parts for sale.

Oh I think you are right. I guess this winter will be vang rebuild season.
