Anyone run an Assymetrical Spinnaker on an F45. Sail size? Do you use runners? My boat has a self tacking jib setup and could use a bit more push off the breeze.
Thanks
Peter

We have an asymmetrical spinnaker on our 45cc. I havent used it yet as it need a new sock to be sewn. Looking forward to flying it. My boat has 2 rearward winches just for this by the traveler.
I have a north asym in a sock. the halyard is just above the jib halyard box. It’s a pain in the butt and 99% of the time I’d rather just run wing on wing downwind. I have runners to the hounds, and I wouldn’t run the spinnaker without them.
I have a Pedrick 35. It works very well for us. I do like to have at least one other person aboard. You definitely want a sock. The best place for that is ATM. He makes the best. Sailmakers by theirs from him. His name is Etienne. Decades ago when he moved to the states because people had trouble understanding his name. So he went from Etienne to ATM.
