Has anyone seen, heard or read of the conversion of a 33 cat-ketch
to a Chinese junk rig (lug rig). I am interested and looking for
any info. Love the cat-ketch which still has the original wishbone
booms and two-ply sails.

Hello Peter,
There was a boat at Lagos, S Portugal, in April this year, now
called “Blue something” , can’t remember, ex “Saorse”, ex “Alfred
Marks”(the boat the Hammick sisters raced in the 1980’s). This boat
was about to fit a new junk rig on the original carbon masts. No
idea how it turned out, but might be a clue.
