Davits on Freedom 40 CK CC

Hey gang,

Here is a link to a photo of a Freedom 40 CK CC with davits. We were
talking about this earlier so I thought I’d share the photo taken by a
friend. Anyone know this boat?

George,It was me that inquired as to the feasibility of adding davits to a F-40 CK, and thanks for the photo. Its hard to tell in this photo but it looks like this boat either has no boomkin, or it is much shorter than the one on the aft cockpit models.

Ah that might explain a lot. On Marquesa the boomkin extends only a
foot and a half or so aft. I think the one in the photo is the same
way. Ours is CK CC with aluminum spars and “conventional” booms.
