It’s time to get wet again here in Northern Michigan. Doing my annual
cleaning and was wondering what the best way to clean that “Diesel
Mustache” might be. Just hate seeing that black exhaust staining on my
stern.
Thanks for the help.

Lots of elbow grease and some med to light
rubbing compound and a nice buffer is what I used and it only made it semi
white again from a far but still a tinge of gray. Be careful to heavy of
compound and to much pressure in one spot will destroy the shine, gel coat is
only so thick. And then a heavy coat of wax. Att and Lat magazine has this
hula girl stuff/cleaner that mentions diesel smoke on the stern….has
anyone used it?
