Does this “pin” fit the center hole snugly? If it does, then this is a version
of F25 that’s unfamiliar to me. If it fits loosely, the bottom of the mast
moves radially more than 1/8", then someone (PO) has lost the necessary innards
for this bearing. In my opinion, when flying a spinnaker on the F25, with the
runing backstay set, there is plenty of downward loading at the base of the
mast. In order to permit mast rotation under such loads something more than
greasy surface is required. Herm
