Downhauls

I have a jib downhaul on my F-36. The block at the bow is installed just even with the stay, is led back over the cabin top, through the line organizer which turns the halyards towards the cockpit (w/o using up one of the sheaves in the organizer it just runs through), a hole drilled in the traveler base and is tied off in a hole in one of the stoppers.

It works well and gets the jib and camber spar down with no problem.

As for the main - it came to me with a Strong Track system. Cast off the main halyard and three (maybe two) seconds later the sail is sitting in the lazy jacks.
