Bill, Minwax makes Wipe On Poly. Get it at Home Depot. Wipe it on with a small rag tampon. It is NOT a thinned down polyurethane varnish. It penetrates and seals with a low lustre finish. I talked to the factory on this one. It is also the quickest way to apply a durable finish. My good friend Bob has just returned from a 10 year @ 6 mo. a year cruise in the Bahamas and summering on the hard in Fla. Job was done 12 years ago. Still looks good.
