In your opinion what kind of wood was used in a 1987 F-30 to line the
interior of the hull of main cabin and v-berth? Kinda looks like oak
to me. In the main cabin the planks are strip 2 1/2 inches wide and
3/8 thick.
Installed a dandy diesal heater two years ago. Now it is time for me
to finally panel or strip plank the adjacent area. It currently shows
bare fiberglass where I removed a locker at the end of the starboard
settee. Hoping to do a decent match.

I’m pretty sure it is not oak (at least on my F30); I believe they are ash.
