Am I crazy?
I had a failure in the steering cable and chain in my Edson steering
on my Freedom 32, Girlfriend (hull #84).
I replaced it (Luckily, it broke while at dock, not at sea) after it
snapped during a hurricane. After I replaced it I took the boat out
of the slip and the helm was REVERSED!!!
That is a wierd experience. I had to motor 45 minutes to have the
bottom painted with the helm reversed.
Question: What did I do wrong???
Where are the cables supposed to be switched or turned?
Help!!!

Scott,
Been there done that. The cables cross inside the Edson tube.
If you run them staight down ( logical assumption) bingo, reverse
steering.
Good Luck!
