Hi, all. I finally have my F25 in the water of Seneca Lake in NY’s Finger Lakes. I’ve got the boom mounted and the sail connected to the mast track. Mainsail halyard is connected and run to the right hand winch. But I’m confused about the two lines that run the length of the boom. What are they for? Are they possibly the reefing lines?
Also, I’m not even sure that I have the lazy jack lines. What do they look like? I need them because the F25 has no topping lift.
Where do they attach? The F25 manual shows cleats on the bottom of the boom, but my boom doesn’t have them.
The F25 manual says that the spinnaker needs a backstay. Where would that be connected on the mast or the stern?
There’s a block on the top of the cabin port side, and a mount for something on the starboard side. What are they for?
I’m completely clueless about the reefing lines. Is there a better description of how they’re rigged than the F25 manual?

I hope this helps!

Yes, that’s a big help, thanks! Shows where the lazy jacks go, and both reefing lines. I think I’m missing the vang, though. I only have one set of lines with a pair of blocks.
Oh, and see the block on the roof of the cabin that I have the mainsheet running through? I’ve seen pictures of other F25’s and they don’t have one. Is it really for the mainsheet? Also, what’s that attachment to the right of it for? Anybody know?
Concerning the mainsheet. If like me (I have an F21 not 25 but they are very similar) and you have a dodger, the standard way of running the mainsheet gets blocked. I therefore have rearranged the mainsheet to go forward to a block on the boom and then down to the deck through a block and back through a fixed port in the dodger. This was I can use the traveller and the mainsheet does not move. You can see most of it it here but not the deck block:
