do you have a dodger on your F30 and do you ever sail with it folded
down? Does it fold down nice and flat or is it kinda bulky?
We are in the process of designing a dodger for our F30 and we really
want to be able to get it down out of the way. That should be easy
except on the port side the winch handle is so close the the edge of
the cabin roof that I think we have to do a side mount. Is that what
you have? I imagine that a simple side mount would prevent the bows
from folding flat and that they would need some sort of leg to elevate
the hinge high enough to allow the bows to rest flat on cabin roof.
Or am I imagining things?
Or maybe everybody just leaves their dodgers up and it doesnt matter
if they fold down in a bulky manner ???
