Peggy Hall, a leading expert on marine sanitation (i.e., The Head Mistress), had this to say about it:
If you’re only looking for a reliable basic electric marine toilet, the best bang for the buck is the Raritan SeaEra. Available in both raw water and pressurized water flush models. List is in the $500s…can be found at discount for around $350. Much quieter and uses less than half the flush water and half the power required by the Raritan Crown Head.
Good luck.

I recently installed a Raritan SeaEra head in a friends boat. Was very favorably impressed with the whole system. If you don’t want to go the “Atlantis” route, it’s an excellent choice. One of the lower current draw units out there.
