Fairways Marine built freedoms. history, numbers, variations

As the owner of a Fairways Marine 1981 Freedom 28 CK CB, I am curious as to the hisory of the builder at time of construction, how many were built and survive, and if any differences that have or may have created special areas of concern.
Patrick indicated that one of those periods was occuring at the time he took delivery of FreeForm, now Clave’.
Raven’s owner with his long resotation certainly knows the TP version well. I had looked at a 1979 Freedom ck cb a couple years back. One obvous difference is the CB case. It is several inches taller on the 1981 Fairways Marine version. Also a different system for wisbone-mast interaction.
I welcome any information. Would enjoy the Hamble insight.

If the name is Fairey, and they once built in molded plywood, I suspect that there is an association with Fairey Aircraft of the 1930s and 1940s.

I corrected my initial posting of Fairey which built ply as you noted. The Freedoms were built by Fairways. They built trawlers.
Thanks.
