This has been plumbers appreciation month in my neck of the woods.
Leaking sea cock followed by leaking hot water heater followed by leaking galley faucet. Enough with the leaks already!!
I bought a cheap high profile faucet to replace the leaking one which was about sixteen years old. Pictures attached.
Before you accuse me of hoity toitiness, this faucet rocks! It is well out of the way for dish washing and swings completely out of the way when convenient to make lots of room in the area over the sink.
$50 on Amazon, cheap but certainly adequate for irregular use on the boat.
Mike - didn’t want to see your fine post go unresponded to …… that faucet seems perfect! My galley faucet started leaking this past Saturday- I think original to 1999……so time to replace … thanks for the idea!
Been on the Mississippi River since mid-December- got back new year’s, bought the sweet $50 galley faucet and installed today. The original had a spray feature too but would leak like crazy when the rubber cover for the sprayer was depressed…… this ought to be more than fine….
