Hello everyone! We are the new owners of a Freedom 40 CC. Currently, it’s on land, and we’re trying to get her ready for living and traveling.
1. We’d like to ask, how can we properly inspect the pivot pin for the centerboard? We believe it’s located here (in the photo), but how can we access it correctly?
2. According to the documentation, the bed in the main cabin is supposed to fold out. However, we couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Does anyone know what the setup should be? Or could just the previous owners of our yacht have removed this feature…
3. And what is this hook on the leg of the table for?![]()
all good query’s
hook i don’t know, maybe a rope foot rest?
its on hard? with the centerboard dropped is there slop on the pin?
if not its probably fine.
Hook – we still haven’t figured out what it’s for, it’s just hanging there for now. ![]()
The boat has been in the water for about 1–2 weeks already.
We haven’t tested the centerboard in the water yet.
When we lowered it on land, we decided it was fine.
There might have been a slight side-to-side slop…
