I just converted my F30 to surface mount fixed ports. Pictures of the new starboard side ports are in the forum.
I created some black cardboard templates for the new fixed ports (useable both port and starboard) and offer them free to anyone interested in doing a similar project. The templates can be used to visualize what the ports will look like and, of course, could be modified to suit your taste, but at least you get to start with a good initial model (and which you could see finished and attached to an actual boat) rather than having to make them yourself. When you are happy they can be used at TAP Plastics, DIY or ?? for the fabrication of the acrylic which is what I did with them.
I would only ask for postage if anyone is interested. They are lightweight but big… postage should not be crazy I don’t think. If anyone is interested I can check out the cost to mail them.
