Natures head toilet (2008) - composting toilet, best thing to happen
to boating since sails
new Main & Mizzen sails (1999)
new refrigeration (1999),
new Perkins engine & fuel tank (1999)
new electrical panel (12v & 110v) & rewiring (1999)
new diesel heater (1999)
new stainless steel port holes (1999)
new Autopilot (1999)
new Stereo (1999)
new bilge pump (2008)
fenders
2 anchors, chain & line
swim ladder
dock lines
spares for many items
Alcohol stove (the simple/good kind - which was standard)
The sails are fully batten with extra roach (not sure what the
technical expression is). I have the original sails and battens as
back ups. There is also a “blooper” sail. Carbon fiber masts with
aluminum booms. There is a pilot berth & a cabin heater in place of
the dinette - this works well because we can get 6 people to sleep on
the boat. We use a folding table in between the two settees. It
works well enough for my wife and I and 4 kids (but the 40/40 works
better).

I just bought a Freedom 40/40, as a result the beloved family boat is
for sale. It is a Freedom 28 Cat Ketch, 1983, Hull #31, $23,000.
