We have decided to sell our F30, #5, after 4 years of loving her. We
are going to use some of our resourses and time to do other travel
and outdoors things we also love(bicyling in France for the summer,
seakayaking the coast of Maine, mountainbiking in the Sawtooths of
Idaho,etc.)
We have cruised for 40-50 days each summer, most days at anchor, and
this summer even carried two 9.5ft kayaks on deck, and bagged mtn
bikes in the V-berth. She has handled this with ease.
We have done alot of work on her, upgrading many things, and
maintaining other parts of the well-built vessel she is.
Our intent is to offer her for sale by owner for awhile this fall,
hoping to pass her on to some other Freedom devotee (we owned an F21,
and a Sabre 34 before coming back to the F30)without the cost of a
broker involved. To facilitate this, and give a comprehensive
listing of the equipment aboard, and the work we have done to her, we
have created a website. I was trying to list this for awhile,
without being able to post new items to the message board. So, if
you have already seen this as a followup to an earlier post, forgive
