Have you checked: http://www.yachtworld.com? Last I checked there were 5 or 6
F-30’s
listed, including an '88 selling for $30K

Thanks and yes yachtworld.com is certainly a very good source. The
19 Freedom 30 at $30,000 that you mention has, I am told, been out
of the water and out of use for 10 years: the price reflects the
need for repair work. The Freedom 30 1987 at Swiftsure (also on
yachtworld.com) was sold and closed last week at $42,000, it was in
really very good condition - I would have most definitely have
bought it if I had been there in time. By chance`I found a really
perfect Freedom 30 at http://maine.rr.com/lockeandvines only to
discover it too recently sold, the price was $49,000. One way or
another I think I can account for most of the Freedom 30s currently
to be found on the internet. I’m posting here hoping to find a
Freedom 30 that’s new to the market or that I’ve missed in my
searches. Thanks again.

Howabout a Freedom 28? We’ve owned Jabberwocky for seven summers and are just taking the first steps to a bigger boat. Like thinking about selling the boat we have!

Yes, if you are having a budget problem while looking for a
F30 going a little smaller helps. When I went shopping for a F30
awhile ago, I ended up with a Hoyt F29 cat sloop. Just a little
less boat for quite a bit less money. The Mull F28 would be
the same idea. All four (including the F32) are very similiar.
Charles now a Hoyt F32.

Check boats.com I just bought F30 hull# 78 in Sandusky OH. There is a
one owner fresh water boat, 1887, on Lake Charlavoix, Michigan.
Probable nice f30.

How about a 28? If you don’t need the aft stateroom, the differences are
subtle and the price is less. (Full disclosure: I have one for sale.)

There is a Mull designed Freedom 30/32 for sale in Bristol, RI. It
is currently inactive in yachtworld but I can still send details to
you if you are interested.
