There are a couple got F-32’s for sale on Yatchworld.
I’m interested in- YW# 2185-1735821 Anyone familiar with Magic -the
one in Oriental, N.C. ???
I tried contacting the broker and not only would he refuse to provide
me with further details he was rude to boot! Some brokers can make
buying a boat so difficult!
I am looking for the shallow draft model = 4’9"

I’ve been searching for nearly 7 months for a clean, well maintained
and up-graded F-32. If you know please email me at: guestallan@…

might try calling Keirn Rush of Harbor Yachts in Oriental (800-249-0586). He’s
a nice guy and everyone in Oriental knows one another. Perhaps he can get
the desired info from the other broker.

Are you going to buy the Bristol???
Keirn says he can’t get the info from the broker. We both agree that there must be something wrong since they won’t disclose anything. Maybe moisture problems???
Anyway if you are buying the Bristol please let me know. I would like the chance at it if it is as good a condition as it appears.

Sorry Al . It sure looks like a wonderful choice! I know others here might disagree but…

By the way what small issues need to be resolved?

Gee if this goes through Al will be Cat-less!!! If you don’t want her I am next in line! Figures my search on Yachtworld was for 32’ - 37’ or I might have beaten you to it!
A bit cramped but what a classic!!!

Even if you get her and I miss out on another good one, I wish you good luck!

Keirn says he has a Watkins coming in soon that is real nice. Any opinions on on a Watkins 33 Al? I think you should buy it so I can buy the Bristol…lol! Keirn says that he may not be able to help me with that F-32. Seems the broker won’t let him board her…seems moisture on the deck might be a problem there.
K. does have a Hunter 37’ Cherubinni that looks good. I know it’s a Chevy but very stiff and in really good shape for the vintage.

On the subject of “shallow” draft, if the maximum draft is critical to you, then
measure it on the hard. Freedom’s brochure for my F-28 Mull says 4’6".
Measurement says it’s 4’10". Caveat Emptor! Herm

I looked at the Freedom 32 in Oriental Friday 5/2/08. It was in a yard having new gelcoat applied to the deck. It is the reason I joined this group. It is in good condition inside and is about to look like new outside. It has no storage space and I’m looking for a cruiser, so I’m no longer interested. The broker said it had mostly been used as a party boat at the dock and not sailed much. The sails were folded and rolled, but looked to be in good condition. The bottom had just been painted and no cracks or blisters showed if there had been any. The rudder shaft had no play. There just was no storage without dedicating a cabin to it.
