Yeah definitely, id appreciate any info you might have.
Ive been restoring mine from a bare shell for the past 12 months. Making good progress, and hoping to move her to a boat yard early November to raise the mast and copper coat.
Launch date is hopefully going to be in the new year.

Hi Denise, I bought a Freedom 35 in early 2023 in Swale Marina near Faversham in Kent. She was in a poor state. The previous owner had her for 18 years and was very ill with cancer until he died in later 2022. I bought from his daughters for ÂŁ20,000. I installed a new Beta engine, a bow thruster, rewired her with new lighting, new heating, new electronics. The sails were OK. I replaced the running rigging and the ports and the fore hatch. I also installed a new electric windlass. I renamed her Goleen after a village in Southwest Cork with strong family ties. The 35 is the best of the first generation Freedoms. In 1980/81, John Oakley raced a 35 and won both the Round the Island (Wight) Race and the Solent series. I was CEO of Fairways Marine, the Freedom builder. You need to have the wrap around sails and wishbone boom with carbon fibre masts. Read the Yachting Monthly review of a used 35 in May/June 2016. Chris
