I finally took a picture of the slug I took out when I installed a water exit for our a/c unit. I’ve posted it with the photo of the section removed for the bow thruster. As you can see it appears as though at least below and near the waterline the hull is the same thickness throughout! An amazing 2 inches thick. Click here to see pictures. George

Thanks George, the link now works. It’s indeed unbelievable how hefty
your hull is laid up. It would explain why the F40 is almost as heavy
as the F44. What’s your build number?
