Freedom 45 Available

Posted by goldbdan (goldbdan@…>)

We’ve decided that we need three cabins (growing kids and all).
Quite sadly, it means it may be time for us to sell our beloved
Freedom 45. If anyone’s interested, please let me know. She’s been
refit stem to stern with all kinds of cool toys. Just to name a few,
all of which are new within the past 3 years: generator, all new
electronics, including C120 and all integrated via SeaTalk, 4kw
radar, Raymarine 6001 autopilot, Vetus bowthruster, Kato Marine
davits, SolarStik solar panels, VacuFlush heads, innerspring mattress
in aft cabin, PYI dripless stuffing box, all new through hulls
installed by Paul Dennis, reconditioned Max Prop, in-boom furling for
the main, new tuner for the SSB, Freedom 30 inverter/charger, Link
2000, full cockpit enclosure, dinghy motor crane, Fairclough winter
cover, Seafrost BD fridge and separate freezer, new fuel tank in
2008, bottom stripped and barrier coated in 2006, flat screen
television with DVD, new lifelines. She’s hull no. 2, built for one
of Freedom’s original owners, so no expense was spared.

We also have an April 2008 survey that we needed to get for insurance
for a trip to Bermuda.

There’s more to her, but that’s a taste. If we don’t sell her, we’re
trading her in, which means we’d get a lower price, so that means we
could be a little more flexible on a private sale price.

If you’re interested or know someone who is, email or call me.

Thanks Lance. I actually don’t have a site for the boat, but I’ve
gotten emails from several people asking about Miracle, all due to
this posting. I’ve now taken pictures of her, so if anyone wants
them, or the spec sheet I’ve created, or the survey from April 2008,
let me know.

Now that we are getting very close to cutting a deal for our new
boat, I’ve actually become a motivated seller, so this is a chance to
get a very well equipped F45 for, dare I say it, “cheap”!!!

And just so it’s out there, as several people asked in their emails
to me, the boat is located in Mamaroneck, NY, which is on Long Island
Sound about 15 miles east of New York City. Our asking price is,
gulp, $175,000 (don’t get upset with me all you other F45 owners, as
I know this is below market, but I’m trying to move the boat).

Lance, by the way, the 2009 version of the Bermuda Rally is most
likely going to leave May 31 or June 1. We’re taking reservations,
so let me know if you want to lock in a spot.
