I think I have seen some adds for an outfit that builds carbon fiber
masts, etc. in “Messing About in Boats”, and promises reasonable cost I

and if you had to install any other stays (fore, aft, port, stbd)
since the mast is aluminum and not CF. I’ve found that aluminum
masts are actually pretty easy to get (after posting on CraigsList),
so that may be my best option.
I’ll get her cleaned up, fix the couple of voids in her gel coat and
post some pics. I’ve read the posts from the last 8 months or so,
y’all are a dedicated bunch! Thanks in advance for any help.

I called ForteRTS yesterday. I must have been important, because I spoke to the OWNER, Tony. He was very helpful, knew exactly what a keel stepped F21 needed, and gave me a price (with shipping) that was more than $2,000 less than GMT Composites (the other main producer of CF Masts). Max, you may want to put a link to ForteRTS on the .info site.
I’m thinking of having one made during the ‘off season’ so that it’ll be ready and waiting when spring comes around and I have the gel coat repairs and bottom paint done. There again, I’m also working on getting my AL mast finished with the info that Wilf Bishop sent me… choices, choices.
Tony said that ForteRTS was making a substantial number of CF masts to replace fatigued AL ones in the ‘Nonesuch’ boats. Just FYI. Thanks again for your help and info.
