Haarstack Mainsail Costs

I spoke with Haarstack Sails this past week. They quoted a price of $3584 for a new main with all the trimmings (7.5 ounce Dacron, 2 reef points, cunningham, battens, slides, Freedom Logo, etc.). If you wait for the slack season you’ll receive a 15% discount ($3046).

I just purchased a new main and jib from Haarstack and was pleased
with the process. I ordered the sails as I was buying the boat and
since I didn’t know enough to make changes I decided to go with the
original sailmaker. I figured that the rig is different enough that
I wanted to play it safe. The only change I make was to go with a
loose footed main to get a little better sailshape. I can’t tell
you how I like them on the boat yet since I just relaunched from
getting work done on the boat and haven’t put them on yet. I will
probably put them on in the next few weeks or so. I am please with
the construction of them though. I ordered them during the winter
sale with the discount. Steve was able to give me an accurate
estimate of when they would ship and they came right on schedule.
