Haarstick is in their post-season discount phase right now, if anyone’s
looking for well-made Freedom sails. They discount 15% for one sail,
20% for two, if you order by October 31. you can write to
sales@… for a quote.

I have no material interest in Haarstick or any other sailmaker, but
wanted to pass on the information.

I just purchased a new camberspar jib from:

Doyle - Inner Banks

Inner Banks Sails and Canvas

112 Straight Road

Oriental, NC 28571

252-249-3001

I have to tell you the sail was well made in fact it was from the specs and
inventory of the BEYC F30 fleet and Mark could not have been a better person to
work with. Not only was the quality and workmanship good the price was
significantly lower then all other sail makers! And I got qoutes from everyone
I could find include the big guys.

So now I have a brand new full set of sails for the F30.

Excellent - the camberspar on Glory was made by Quantum in Newport.
The construction is quite good, even if I don’t know how to trim it :wink:

Both of our sails were made by Quantum 10 years ago and look to be in
like new condition. Of course this is mostly due to the fact that the
boat underwent major upgrades in 97 and then as far was we can tell
she sat in a slip… :frowning:

It’s looking good for getting her out and “twisting her tail” early
next week to see what she will do. :slight_smile: Will report back.
