Lots of good suggestions. I cut the large panels to make the removal and reinstallation a lots easier and had two teak battens made to cover the additional seams. Also, added an additional overhead hand rail forward when I had the panels down. To mount the hand rail I epoxied a 5/8" strip of marine plywood to the overhead to mount the handrail.
