I bought my freedom 3 months ago, we sail it at Elephant Butte Lake in
New Mexico. This is my first sailboat and its been a blast taking the
family out on the week ends. 5 Planks is a 1983 F21 hual #104 her name
was Windrush but she has been renamed to 5 Planks, I think I’m the
third owner. She has been in New Mexico for about 5-7 years and will
probably be moving within the next 1-2 years when I get my orders for
my next duty assignment. So far I’ve had no major issues with her and
no expensive repairs which I’m quite impressed for a 25 year old boat.
I’m looking forward to chatting with everyone and learn about my new
old boat.
