indirect lights

Posted by sailorray4493 (ray.wolf@…>)

Does anyone know a source to replace the ballast in the indirect
lights on a F 45? I do not know if the smaller models used the same
light set up. Ours run on 12 volts, and most use a standard GE 18
inch bulb, but I can not find a source to replace the ballast and
other minor electrical parts in the housing. The look to be custom
made, as all the parts are fastened to a sheet meal housing.

Thanks for your help

Ray,

the indirect lights a made by thinlite and are still available as whole
assembleles or replacement parts. They have a website, but they don’t sell
direct to consumers. I bought mine through an rv dealer. I’ll look in my
records tomorrow . Btw, i’m still interested in the soloon table, but I had
lost your number

Hank, I have not found drawings for the table, my next step is to go
visit a boat and do a set of drawings. I spoke to Paul Dennis, and he
doubts there ever were drawings, it was just something that evolved in
the carpentry shop. He thought it would be quite expensive to have
his shop make a table, but I will stop and see him on my next trip
north. Will keep you posted. How did you fare in the Katrina?
