Interior Teak & Holly floor boards

On my 1986 F36/38, over the years my interior plywood floor boards with Teak & Holly finish have received a number of dents and dings. with the inevitable humidity especially in winter months these do swell a bit making them more difficult to remove, so prying them out caused some damage as weel. I only remove the middle ones to check on my bilges as I like to keep bilges dry at all times. Recalling the amount of work (from my previous boat) required to apply 5-6 coats of varnish with sanding in between, i decided to look at alternative method. Some of the choices are PlasTeak ( at $6 per sqf) and NUTeak (at $14 per sqf). I received some samples of PlasTeak and those seem to be nice. Having removed all the boards to my garage, it will be pretty easy job to cut and glue it on, I am only concerned about the longevity of the glue and whether it will fail at edges ? Has anyone tried doing similar thing? In addition, having removed all the floor boards i was thinking of removing the teak wooden partitions that are screwed in. I was planning to get them out, sand and apply one or two coats of varnish, but not sure if these are also glued in? hate to try opening the teak plugs over the screws to find out that they have also been glued on? Any info on this is much appreciated.

Plasteak is a very good product (and company) - actually located near my home in NE Ohio. They have done a lot of research about adhesives because their product is made of (among other things) recycled plastic beverage bottles. Their material does not bond well with many adhesives - but they have told me that some work very well. I would definitely consult with the company. In particular, I would ask about Plexis - which has been described by my boatyard as virtually indestructible. I’d be interested in hearing what you find out. One of the other things I like about the company is that you can call them, ask for the owner and actually get him on the phone.
