Funny you should mention this…
We’ve been having a lively discussion elsewhere on the same topic.
These don’t require you to replace the fixture. It’s an LED replacement
bulb. I have not tried them myself. Island Planet Sails nor myself have
any relationship to this company. I found out about them during a
conversation with a vendor who we’re adding to our list of cool stuff
providers.

Look at www.orcagreen.com
They have an LED TriAnchor Light which is U.S.Coast Guard Certified.
It is low power: 0.5 AMP. You can switch between Tri-Color Navigation
Light to Anchor Light.
They also have U.S. Coast Guard Certified LED Running lights design
for Military.
Bow Bi-Color and Masthead/Steaming coming soon.
I currently have previous designs and will upgrade soon. Orca Green
is very good to deal with.
